Electrified Marina

Electric boats tend to be slightly heavier than their gas-powered counterparts, but the difference is often minimal. For instance, comparing an electric boat to a similar-sized gas boat might reveal only a slight increase in weight, roughly the equivalent of having an extra person on board. However, as you move to larger electric vessels, the battery weight does become more noticeable. Nonetheless, this slight increase in weight is usually well managed by the boat’s design and doesn’t significantly impact performance.
