Electrified Marina

People run out of gas at sea every day—that's why companies like Sea Tow exist. If your electric boat's battery dies, they can tow you just as easily. However, reaching 0% battery on an electric boat means you've ignored multiple warnings and built-in systems designed to prevent this exact scenario. Electric boats are equipped with battery gauges that inform you of your remaining battery life, typically including details on how many hours, minutes, or miles you can travel before the battery is depleted. When your battery drops to around 20-30%, most electric boats will automatically begin limiting the throttle to conserve energy. As you approach 10%, the throttle may be further restricted to a trolling speed, which significantly extends your range and ensures you can safely return to port.
