Hampton Roads Green Fleet Expo
March 7 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
Join Virginia Clean Cities, Propane Education Research Council, the City of Norfolk and other local government fleets for an informative session on alternative fuels and green fleet best practices. There will be cutting-edge vehicles on display, educational sessions, and lunch! Hampton Roads area governments, businesses, and school fleets are encouraged to attend.
The Northern Neck Sail and Power Squadron is now accepting applications for the 4th annual Spring Boat Show and Flea Market, which will be held on Saturday, April 26th, from 10 to 3 at the Chesapeake Commons shopping center in Kilmarnock. Anyone interested in exhibiting or selling boats, boating equipment, or services and vendors of locally made crafts can go to events@abcnnk.org for more information and applications.

Each year thousands of volunteers team up to clean up Hampton Roads for the regional two-day event. Volunteers from military commands, local businesses and non-profits join forces with private citizens across Hampton Roads to rid the land and water of litter, tend community gardens and improve public parks. Since 2012, volunteers have cleared more than 259 tons of litter from our environment. Be part of our team and help us clean up Hampton Roads!
Bay Bridge Boat Show at Safe Harbor Narrows Point

Situated on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay, this spring powerboat show marks the beginning of the boating season. Climb aboard a wide array of powerboats of every style and size – from fishing boats and trawlers to pontoon boats and luxury cruisers. With plenty of on-site parking available, food and beer stations, and live entertainment, the Bay Bridge Boat Show at Safe Harbor Narrows Point is guaranteed to be a great day on the Bay.

DC Boat Show at National Harbor
May 2 - 4, 2025
DC Boats Shows are excited to welcome boating enthusiasts to the 3rd Annual DC Boat Show at National Harbor, May 2-4, 2025. Join us for a weekend getaway on the Potomac River and kick off the boating season! There will be a wide variety of vessels from Sail to Power, and New to Quality Pre-Owned for immediate sale and to order. Tour the boats, grab food and drinks, listen to live music throughout the show, peruse the vendor tents for the latest in boating gear, pick up some DC Boat Show merchandise meet the experts, and commune with boaters from local and far away harbors! National Harbor is one of many destinations on the Potomac River, stay for the weekend and take the water taxi to Old Town Alexandria, The Wharf, or Georgetown!
October brings the transformation of Ego Alley and Annapolis Harbor into a boater’s dream,
as floating docks create a temporary marina showcasing new and premiering boats and the latest in boating accessories, equipment and apparel during the Annapolis Powerboat Show.
Whether you are a boater, angler, or just getting started, you will want to grab your family and head to downtown Annapolis and soak in the boating lifestyle, catch up with old boating friends, and make new ones as you walk the docks.

Virginia EV Day at the Capital

Join us for an impactful Electric Vehicle Day at the Capitol, hosted by Electrifying Virginia Partnership. This event is designed to heighten awareness and offer valuable education on the myriad benefits of multimodal transportation electrification. It’s an excellent opportunity to be a part of the collaborative efforts of the Electrifying Virginia Partnership project within the state. Largest Grassroots Solar and Sustainable Living Event in the Nation is coming to Norfolk!
Hosted by the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) for over 29 years, the purpose of the National Solar Tour is to promote renewable energy awareness and increase the adoption of solar energy. The National Solar Tour centers around neighborhood discussions about solar, recommendations on installers, financing, local laws, and other considerations and hesitations around installing solar panels, purchasing electric vehicles, and instating energy efficiency upgrades.
